ART FOR YOU!

I declare this the summer where I make your walls kick butt!

I'm open for commissions officially for the first time, yay! Read on, kind lovers of the super awesome, and learn what kinds of amazing algebraic art forms can be yours:

$20 nifty little drawings:

Want to be like these happy people? Get some custom drawings mailed to you!

For $20 (plus shipping) you get a 6x8 inked drawing with a little bit of color thrown in! (These will be on white bristol paper, which is archival unlike the cardboard shown in the examples. Ooooo! Fancy!) Feel free to request a particular idea or colors. I'll consider everything! Although be aware this isn't the section for requesting epic 100 person battles in space... hold on to your butts, we'll get to that!

Expected turn around time is 1 week from payment received. Yup, that's right, a week from now your wall could be 10 times more excellent.

fancy shmancy commissions:

Now we're getting serious! Everyone's awesome commish idea is different, but I've created a simple outline so you can get an idea of what you can expect to pay. Check it out!

Base Price Estimations

Size: 9x12
Single Character - B&W - $50
Single Character - Color = $75

Extras

Background = $50~$100
Additional Characters = $30~$60 each

Also remember, a character doesn't have to be a human: it could be a robot or a dinosaur... or a robot dinosaur with laser eyes!

All fancy schmancy commissions come with 300dpi .jpg for printing. For both B&W work and color, I'm happy to send you the original B&W inked line art if you provide shipping costs (or can meet in San Francisco!)

Please note these prices are a rough estimate of what you can expect to pay. Finale estimate is dependent on overall scope of your request.

For commissions with custom sizes, tons of characters, or crazy extensive backgrounds, get in touch with me for a more customized estimate! (This is the section for epic 100 person battles in space)

Expected turn around time is 2-4 weeks from payment received.

for all commissions:

I keep the right to display the images and make prints. Prints will always be smaller than your original commission so that your work stays unique. You may make as many prints for personal use as you like, but please don't go using them for commercial purposes or selling them without asking, that's not cool at all!

Please send all commission related inquiries to katie@klongua.com.

Get in touch with me, and together we can end the plague of boring walls one wall at a time! Wooo! Arts!

RÖK #3 PARTYYYY~!

The RÖK #3 release party was so crazy fun! Thanks to everyone that showed up. It was great to meet RÖK fans that I didn't even know were out there~!!! I also created some life size cut-outs of Thor and Elaine, since they're most involved in the third issue! I'm so happy with them.. maybe I need to make the rest of the band and have a matching set?

If you're in San Francisco, you should check them out at the Isotope! They're still rocking out in the display window. If you wanna see more pictures of the release party, including some of the bajillion sketches I did, look over here.

Speaking of the third issue.. Its now available at Floating World along with the other issues in Portland. ALSOOOO.... RÖK #3 finally gets its Etsy debut!!!

To celebrate, here are a couple pages out of my super special secret planning notebook. These are only some of tons of different sketches I do before moving on to final comic pages. If you compare the comic pages to these, I'm sure you'll recognize quite a few pages! Also included a couple sample pages from #3~!

See you next time~!
