Kitties and adventuring!!!

Here's a few things I've done lately!

Pin-up for the wonderful comic Wuvable Oaf by Ed Luce. The latest issue made me extra mushy, so I really wanted to do something super sweet. Also kitties, all of the kitties. I made a black&white version too:

Quick Bulma sketch from the other night that I ended up coloring. Drawing Dragon Ball Z characters back in elementary school is what really got me into making comics in the first place. <3

Aaaaand, oh, it's my secret project! My first fully colored comic!!! It's just seven pages, but I've put tons of work into it. I won't say anything else about it yet, but I couldn't wait to share some.

GUY FOX

Cover I did for the band Guy Fox. You can hop on over to their website to listen to the single! I've been meaning to try it out as a GIF for a while.. I'm a big fan of glowy things.

Just wanted to mention I'm still alive. Comic updates soon! <3

From earlier this week on Twitter~! So much RÖK on the way!

NEW DINOTASTIC ART!

The big ol' exciting commission I've been working on finally made it to its owner, so I'm posting about it here! They requested a dino rock band theme, so we decided to make it an awesome band poster! So many things I like!

Pencil rough time!

They decided on dinosaurs in space, which is an even greater combination of things I like! Woo! Although I still really like the other two roughs as well. Maybe the world needs even more fake dinosaur band posters...

Anyway, to the inks!

I had pretty well developed roughs already, so not to big a change. I just shifted things around to fit the composition better. Also I decided to hide a little nerdy reference in there. :P

AAAND, THE MOST EXCITING PART!!! COLORS!

Supaaah bright and crazy, as usual. Overall it was a really fun project. I'm very thankful of all the people in the world who decide their walls need awesome rockin' out dinos.

While I was researching this project, I actually discovered there was a real dinosaur band... Hevisaurus!!! They're a Finnish heavy metal band for children. All the band members are super cool dinosaurs. I'm 100% a fan of all these things.

 Räyh!

See you next time!

Pokemon Superhero Mashups!!! (for saaaale!!!)

I haven't drawn anything but RÖK stuff for a while, so I decided I needed an incredibly silly break from that.. Also I just couldn't decide if I wanted to draw some Pokemon or some superheroes...

SO WHAT IF THEY WERE IN THE SAME UNIVERSE!?!?!

Batgirl and all her favorite Pokemon! I found out all the bat Pokemon are super cute and fun to draw and are sooooo awesome, not just Swoobat. I guess all my previous hate was because of generation one Golbat... SO SCARY!!!

(This is the stuff of nightmares.)

Iron Man has some trouble with magnetic Pokemon.

Dazzler and Jigglypuff make an awesome singing team. Meanwhile, Wigglytuff didn't manage to evolve any awesome skating abilities. I had the best time making everything in this drawing SUPER SHINY AND SPARKLY!!!!

CUTE CUDDLY KITTIES EVERYWHERE! Also, Purugly may be the most entertaining Pokemon to draw. I recommend it. Were you aware the end of Purugly's tail wraps around its stomach to hold back all its fat? Whoever designed it is a genius and also completely insane.

Awesome.

Aaaaand my newest one... Doctor Strange!

Here they are all together. My first time coloring in marker for quite a while.. It's super nice and relaxing. And also now I have some original colored art that could be yours!!!!

Each one is 6"x8" and I'm selling them for $30 each. They're available over here at my Etsy shop! (As well as all issues of my heavy metal magical girl comic, RÖK.)

SUPER FUN UPDATE:
Lots of thanks to Comics Alliance for sharing these!

Although be aware this isn't the section for requesting epic 100 person battles in space... hold on to your butts, we'll get to that!

GIANT SPACE DRAWING AAAAAH~!

This is the giant-est most epic drawing I've ever done! It was super fun. I meant to save a few more steps in completing it, but I was having too much fun and forgot. I worked on it as a commission, but I hope to make some prints of it too. Its 30"x12.5" so it makes a pretty awesome-tastic poster! Also I hid some cool characters in there, you should try and find 'em! Woooo!

NEW COMIC! FROM SPAAAAACE!

Hey there all, I'm alive, and I come bearing a brand new comic! I'll have a new page weekly for twelve weeks, starting January. That's right, FREE COMICS FOR YOU! Even better, free space comics...

In the oppressive space future, magic has been outlawed for defying the laws of science. All the magicians throughout space were rounded up and exiled to the lamest planet around. Those who escape are hunted ruthlessly.

Although a magician hasn't been seen by the outside world in generations, their relics still pass through the space black market. While magicians are the only ones who can unlock these item's full potential, a wand or a hat can still change the tide of battle.

Space creatures on the wrong side of the law can make a fortune dealing in all sorts of forbidden magical artifacts. Including a certain sexy space girl with a rocket powered mace!

However, break the anti-space magic laws and you have to deal with the J.A.W.S., a fearsome robotic police force.

Once again, this comic is written and drawn by me. (the only Katie Longua.. I think) It was quite a bit of fun working on, so hopefully that comes across when you get to read it! With that, I'll leave you with the inks for the first page! If spacegirls with rocket powered maces fighting robot police space sharks don't catch your interest, I'm not sure what will.
